You are safe in a Buick Enclave

I have a different approach to checking out a new car.  Because of my law enforcement background, I zero in on how safe this vehicle would be when or if you were involved in an accident and I don’t mean a “fender-bender”.  I have seen too many horrific accidents where the occupants could have been saved from serious injuries and death, if they had been in a safe car.

We were searching for such a vehicle that would safely carry our family, two dogs and other cargo.  My research found the 2016 Buick Enclave SUV as a top performer in safety features and rankings.  So, we went over to McKinney Buick GMC to get a close up view.  Yes, the Buick Enclave with its three seats, luxury ambiance, and a comfortable and quiet ride is awesome.  What also impressed me was how it performed in that very important safety category.  Our Sales Consultant said that the real good news about the Enclave is that in government crash tests, the Enclave earned the highest possible scores and was awarded five out of five stars for overall safety performance.  It didn’t stop there as the Enclave earned five stars for total front impact protection and five for total side-impact protection.  I felt better already, but the good news continued as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety said the Buick Enclave earned also the highest rating with front-side impact tests along with roof strength, seat belts and whiplash protection.

On top of that, the 2016 Enclaves are equipped with anti-lock brakes, stability traction control, front outboard side air bags, full-length side curtain air bags and a large airbag that deploys between the front seats in the event you get hit from the side.  I was very impressed and the Sales Consultant continued, as he took another deep breath, and informed us the Enclave has OnStar which includes automatic crash notification, on demand roadside assistance, an emergency button and a stolen vehicle locator.  If you opt for the Leather and Premium Group, they also include cross traffic alert, blind spot warning, forward collision alert and lane-departure warning.

We were sold and I know maybe those things might be boring to some people, but remember you have precious cargo on board.  There, I got that out of the way and now you don’t have to dwell so much on the safety features and really enjoy the driving experience at McKinney Buick GMC – visit them online at today!
